The ACLU of Illinois is honored to stand with so many groups committed to justice and fundamental fairness who have received generous funding from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation to fight Trump’s discriminatory executive orders. Chicago and Illinois must be a welcoming place and we will confront bullying of immigrants and refugees, even if that bullying comes from the White House. We will continue to work with our coalition partners to protect the rights of immigrants and refugees in the face of these cruel and unconstitutional efforts.
