SB 2190: Repeal PNA

SB 2190 repeals the Parental Notice of Abortion Act, which requires a healthcare provider to notify an adult family member (parent, grandparent, step-parent living in the home, or legal guardian) at least 48 hours prior to performing an abortion for a patient under 18.

HB 3071: Illinois Healthy Youth Act (IL HYA)

The Healthy Youth Act (SB 266 and HB 3071) builds on current sexual health education standards in Illinois to include a full toolbox of knowledge and skills to support youth in responsible and informed decision making about their health and well-being throughout their lives.
