Please join the ACLU of Illinois on Thursday, August 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pizzeria Deville in Libertyville for a special community activator event on what the ACLU is doing to fight back against the Trump Administration and what role you can play in the fight ahead.

The event is designed to allow supporters to gather together to express concerns about the Trump Administration’s effort to wield all federal power without checks and balances of Congress or the courts – and the harm that Trump’s reckless and lawless policies are having on our communities. The program will include an update on challenges to Trump policies led by the ACLU and our partners. We will discuss the direct, pragmatic steps that each of us can take to protect basic civil rights and civil liberties in our own communities, as well as on the state and federal level. And, you’ll have a chance to talk with neighbors and friends who share your concerns about Trump’s actions.

Space is limited for the event, and we encourage you to register today! Pizza will be provided, and drinks will be available for purchase.
