House Joint Resolution 27
Sponsored by Senator Hunter and Representative Yarboroug, House Joint Resolution 27, drafted by the ACLU of Illinois, calls on the President and members of the Illinois congressional delegation to revisit and repeal the federal REAL ID Act of 2005, in part because REAL ID is an unfunded mandate, would create a national ID card, and endangers license-holder privacy.
