Please join the ACLU of Illinois, ACS Chicago Lawyer Chapter, and Mayer Brown on Monday, October 3 at 12:00 PM at Chicago-Kent College of Law and virtually, for our annual Supreme Court event. The most recent U.S. Supreme Court term was the most conservative in a century and the catastrophic decisions handed down included cases on abortion, religious liberty, rights of residents of Puerto Rico, criminal defendants’ rights, voting rights, Indigenous rights, and free speech.

This year’s program features legal experts sharing insights on some of the major cases from last term and a look ahead to cases in the upcoming term that begins on October 3. The program also includes a discussion of trends in the Supreme Court and the federal judiciary, the importance of the fight ahead in state courts, and the ongoing repercussions of last term. Panelists will also answer audience questions.
