Express your support for civil unions in Illinois! The ACLU of Illinois and Countryside Unitarian Church are hosting a letter-writing party in support of fairness for gay & lesbian couples and families in Illinois. Real Illinois families are being hurt right now by the denial of basic legal protections – tell your legislator to stand up for fairness. Come by, grab a slice of pizza, and write a letter to your legislator supporting the Illinois Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act (HB1826).
