On Tuesday, March 11, 2008, restaurants across Illinois join with generous diners like you to raise money in the 5th Annual Share a Meal with Community Shares. Dining out that one day at any participating restaurant helps 80 community groups, including the ACLU, make a difference right here in Illinois every day.

Every diner becomes a donor. Here's how.

On March 11th, enjoy a great meal and have fun with friends, family or co-workers at one of the participating restaurants near you. That restaurant then donates a portion of the proceeds to Community Shares of Illinois and its member organizations. You may designate a portion of your bill to a specific member charity, like the ACLU.

It's that simple.

So, pull up a chair and lift a fork. There's a place at the table for you.
