This event is part of the ACLU's publication of its shadow report, challenging the
U.S. government's submission to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The shadow report, which discusses the Rahman case, draws attention to the failure of the U.S. to comply with the International Convention on the elimination of all forms of Racial Discrimination.
