April 5, 2006 - Is it Time for Civilian Review Boards in Bloomington and Normal?

Time: Wednesday, April 5th, at 7:00 pm
Location: Unitarian Church, 1613 E Emerson, Bloomington

The Central Illinois Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois wants you to be aware of a program this week that touches on a subject of great concern to many ACLU members - civilian control over police authority. On Wednesday, April 5th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Unitarian Church at 1613 East Emerson Street in Bloomington, the Chapter is hosting a discussion titled, Is it Time for Civilian Review Boards in Bloomington and Normal?

The program features an excellent panel to discuss the topic, answer questions from interested community members and foster a broader discussion about how the citizenry can make their voice heard on this important topic. We invite you to make your voice heard.
