October 2, 2004 - Bill of Rights Celebration
Join us Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago's Crystal Ballroom when the ACLU honors eight stalwart civil libertarians with its highest awards. This special evening also includes a keynote address by Morris Dees, Executive Director of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Irwin Askow and Lois Lipton will receive the Roger Baldwin Lifetime Achievement Award; Jack Block and Martin Castro are being honored with the Edwin A. Rothschild Civil Liberties Award; Mary Morten is the recipient of this year's John Hammell Award; and Judy Gaynor, Alan Saks and Esther Saks will receive the Annetta Dieckmann Award.
