January 27, 2004 - West Suburban Hospital Proposed Merger

You are invited to a coffee at the home of
Rabbi Gary Gerson and Dr. Carol Gerson

for a discussion of

The Proposed West Suburban Hospital Merger with Resurrection Hospital
Is this deal a danger to your health and your community?

West Suburban is a non-profit, non-sectarian community hospital. If this acquisition goes through, West Suburban will become a Catholic hospital forced to abide by the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. Under these Directives, West Suburban will be prohibited from providing basic health care services such as contraceptives, tubal ligations, vasectomies, infertility treatment, and end-of-life care.

Please join fellow ACLU members to discuss the impact of this proposed transaction on our community.

Tuesday, January 27, 2004
7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
at the Gerson home
1031 Ashland Avenue
River Forest, IL
