Patriot Act Renewal Stalled in the Senate! Tell Senator Durbin and Senator Obama to Stand Strong for Real Reform Despite pressure from the White House and Senate Leadership, a group of bi-partisan United States Senators have delayed a final vote on a reauthorization bill for the USA PATRIOT Act that actually made the PATRIOT Act even worse, reversing months of negotiations aimed at real reform. We appreciate the efforts of many of our Action Alert members to make calls to our Senators and Members of Congress. At this critical moment, we need to reach out anew to our two Senators, thank them for their vote to demand real reform of the PATRIOT Act and urge them to remain steadfast in their efforts.
