Despite pressure from the White House and Congressional Leadership, a group of bi-partisan lawmakers delayed a vote on a reauthorization bill for the USA PATRIOT Act that acutally made the PATRIOT Act even worse, reversing months of negotiations aimed at real reform.

We appreciate the efforts of many of our Action Alert members to make calls to our Senators and Members of Congress. Thanks for standing up for our constitutional values!
