The 40th Annual Chicago Gay Pride Parade takes place this Sunday, and the ACLU will be representing again this year. We're very excited to have a place in the parade, and our theme will be "Building an Illinois We Can Be Proud Of". Expect to see a lot of tool belts and hard hats.

Of course, we would love to have as many participants as possible. If you would like to join us at the Pride Parade, please visit action.aclu.org/lgbtpride and sign up. All are welcome, and we'll have a truck this year to assist folks who cannot walk the entire route. The Pride Parade is easily accessible by both Red and Brown Lines at the Belmont stop. Dig out those work boots, and we'll get marching!

For more than half a century, the ACLU has been fighting for LGBT rights across the country. From fighting for the right to marry to protecting LGBT employees, the ACLU has long been working in and out of the courts to make sure that LGBT individuals' rights are guaranteed and protected. We are excited to again stand in solidarity with the LGBT community at the Pride Parade. We hope to see you there!
