The Associated Press reported that a Louisiana charter school is changing their policy of requiring female students suspected of being pregnant to take a pregnancy test and requiring pregnant students to be home-schooled. This comes after the ACLU of Louisiana threatened to sue the school for this discriminatory practice.

Delhi Charter School board chairman Albert Christman said Wednesday that officials didn't know the policy was illegal and are changing it. The American Civil Liberties Union had threatened to sue over the policy, claiming it violated Title IX of the 1972 federal education law.
