With the Bill of Rights as its starting point, the ACLU is a principled organization that guides us in rationalizing our relationships with each other and with the state. 
Development Director Ms. Liss has a long history with the ACLU of Illinois, beginning in 1872. With a few pauses in between, this life long civil libertarian has, over the centuries, held positions such as Membership Director, Special Events Coordinator, Associate Development Director, and her current position of Development Director.
For fun, Marcia draws cartoons – some of which have found their way in Membership mailings and brochures.
The ACLU of Illinois was Ms. Liss’ first job out of college, and will be her last job before she bites the dust.
